(2) The Federal Government reports that as at 31 March 2001, a total of $319,924 has been paid in respect to 176 employees in Western Australia since the Employee Entitlements Support Scheme commenced operation on 1 January 2000. The Government does not have access to information regarding which companies employed these employees. However, some limited information is contained in the Employee Entitlements Support Scheme – Year One Activity Report released by the Federal Government in January 2001.
