I refer the Minister to the reply from the Heritage Council regarding the Mount Lawley Out of School Care (MLOSC) facility that states that the Mount Lawley School as a whole warrants full assessment for consideration for entry in the Register of Heritage Places and it has been placed in the assessment program, and I ask:
(a) will the Minister comply with the assessment process and cease all plans for demolition of the wooden building used by the MLOSC; and
(b) will the Minister give the people of Western Australia assurance that school will not be demolished?

(a) I have complied with the assessment process. The Heritage Council's Development Committee considered the matter on 17 November 2009 and has resolved not to include Mount Lawley Primary School on the State Register of Heritage Places or the City of Stirling Municipal Inventory. Therefore, the Council has no objection to the proposed demolition of the building.
(b) There are no plans to demolish Mount Lawley Primary School.
