ABORIGINAL CULTURAL HERITAGE ACT —
IMPLEMENTATION
437. Mr P.J. RUNDLE to the Premier:
I refer to the implementation of the
Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act and the nearly 30 000 concerned petitioners; rising anxiety from stakeholder groups; guidelines
not yet published; practical details still unclear; and the Minister for
Aboriginal Affairs clarifying that the start date is simply arbitrary. Will the
Premier delay the 1 July implementation date—yes or no?
