(1-4) In October 2004 Balga Senior High School Parents and Citizens Association was granted $44,000 (incl GST) from the Office of Crime Prevention, which at the time was a part of the Department for the Premier and Cabinet. The funding was approved by the Minister for Community Safety on the recommendation of the Director of the Office of Crime Prevention. A total of $2,150 (incl GST) in grants was also made to the Balga Senior High School Parents and Citizens Association by the Office of Multicultural Interests in February 2002 and March 2004. The grants were approved by the Premier on the recommendation of the Executive Director of the Office of Multicultural Interests. Department of Industry and Resources advises: (1a-i) Since the formation of the Department of Industry and Resources (DoIR) in 2003/04 no funds have been provided to the listed entities. (2-3) Not applicable. (4) The listed entities are not understood to have been eligible for funding under DoIR programs.
