I refer to the Main Roads Act 1930 and the provision under Part 3 and the First Schedule for the formation of the Main Roads Advisory Board (the Board): (a) For the following years, please detail the board members both voting and ex-officio of the Board: (i) 2017-18; (ii) 2018-19; (iii) 2019-20; (iv) 2020-21; (v) 2021-22; and (vi) 2022-23 to date; (b) For all years in (a), please detail the number of meetings held by the Board; (c) Will the Minister please table the minutes of all meetings held by the Board; and (d) Does the CEO of Main Roads attend Board meetings: (i) If yes, please detail the meetings that the CEO attended?

While provisions for a Main Roads Advisory Board were inserted in the Main Roads Act in 1996, it has never been constituted under any state government.
The option of establishing a formal Advisory Board still exists, but Main Roads has opted for more project / activity specific boards to provide guidance and support.
