EXTRAORDINARY DRIVERS' LICENCES —
REVIEW
290. Ms R. SAFFIOTI to the Minister for
Transport:
I refer to the review of
extraordinary drivers' licences requested by the former Minister for
Transport in August 2013—that is, the review of EDL.
(1) What was the outcome of the
review of the extraordinary driver's licence application system?
(2) Has the
ability to obtain an EDL been made more difficult for drink-drivers as
committed to by the then Minister for Transport?

I have to say up-front that I am not
aware of the detail of that report at this point in time and I will have to
take that question on notice. I will respond directly to the member concerned.
