For the current Forest Management Plan (2014-2023), the sustained yield is the yield of first and second grade sawlogs that the forest available for timber harvesting can produce for an extended period of time, given the settings in the plan. (1) The sustained yield includes quantity and quality of timber. (2) The sustained yield is informed by projection of projects sawlog woodflows to 2070, with consideration of woodlflows to 2110. (3) The timeframe relates to the period between harvests and the period over which realistic estimates can be generated.
