REGIONAL EDUCATION OFFICES — BUDGET
536. Hon MATT BENSON-LIDHOLM to the Minister for Education:
My question without notice is to the Minister for Education,
but the original question was put to the minister in his capacity as Minister
for Energy representing the Minister for Education.
I refer to question on notice 6053 from the other place,
dated 31 August 2011.
(1) Is the
information for Aboriginal education managers, coordinators and liaison
officers still current; and, if not, what changes have been made to these
positions?
(2) Are there any
managers or coordinators of Aboriginal education in the goldfields region, the
wheatbelt region or the south west region; and, if so —
(a) where are they located;
(b) what is the full-time equivalent
for each position; and
(c) who are the line managers for
each position?
(3) What
resources are allocated to each manager, Aboriginal education, to enable them
to undertake their duties?

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the
question. Did the honourable member present that question to the previous
Minister for Education? What date was that question? I have never seen that
question.
Hon Matt Benson-Lidholm : Minister, I don't have —
Hon Sue Ellery : It was before the break, wasn't
it?
Hon Matt Benson-Lidholm : It was before the break.
Hon PETER COLLIER : Okay.
Hon Matt Benson-Lidholm : That's why I said it was —
Hon PETER COLLIER : Sorry; I do not have it, but I will chase
it up and, as always, I will get it to the member as soon as possible. Do not
put it on notice. I will give the answer to the member as soon as possible.
