(4) Is it true that the cost to rebadge Swan TAFE is $6 million? (5) If no to (4), will the minister provide a comprehensive breakdown of all costs; and, if not, why not? (6) Is the minister aware that staff are concerned about the cost to rebadge the college, particularly as they are unable to purchase new computers to assist them with front-line teaching? Hon PETER COLLIER

I thank the member for some notice of this question. (1) Yes. (2) That is a decision for individual colleges to make, and most of them have made that decision. (3) No. However, a consultant was engaged to assist with the brand name and signage style guide. The consultant is Forbes and its schedule of fees for undertaking project analysis, preparation of brief, naming and design work was $70 355, not $6 million. (4) No. (5) A breakdown of all costs is not possible at this early stage in the process. (6) Funding has not been removed from front-line teaching priorities.
