BURRUP PENINSULA
(1) Will the minister confirm that, despite the fact that the Burrup Peninsula is heritage protected on the Register of the National Estate as Aboriginal heritage area AHA43, consideration is being given to opening up the northern part of the Burrup Peninsula to Conzinc Bay to the general public, including four-wheel-drive access, barbecue areas and campsites, with provision for a marina in the future? (2) Will the minister advise if and how the area will be patrolled to prevent theft of valuable archaeological material and petroglyphs in addition to vandalism and general degradation of the area by four-wheel-drive vehicles?
