(3) Has the Minister engaged in any discussions with the City of Melville to further the City’s objectives?

2. The Minister is aware that the City of Melville’s transport Strategy of July 2000 includes 31 Strategic objectives, one of which is the maintenance of high capacity on major roads. 3. The Minister has had discussions with the City of Melville regarding planning for transport. Senior Departmental officers have also met with staff and councillors of the City regarding planning requirements for the Stock Road/Leach Hwy intersection and other matters. Council is also represented on the Local Impacts Committee which is investigating road capacities and various other road planning issues. 4. The Minister is not aware how long Russell Aubrey has been a member at the Melville City Council.
