Attorney General representing the Minister for Police:
I refer to tabled paper 3632 from Thursday, 19 November,
which states —
... information is provided in
relation to deaths in Corrective Services custody only. Deaths in Police
custody are not included in the information provided.
(1) How many
deaths in or associated with police custody have occurred in Western Australia
in the last 10 years?
(2) How many of those deaths in or associated with police
custody are still awaiting a coronial inquest?
