991. Hon PETER COLLIER to
the minister representing the Minister for Transport:
I refer to the McGowan government's
Metronet project. What is the indicative cost of each of these projects —
(a) Forrestfield–Airport
Link;
(b) Bayswater train station upgrade;
(c) Claremont Station project;
(d) Thornlie–Cockburn Link;
and
(e) Yanchep rail extension?

On behalf of the Minister for
Environment, I thank the honourable member for the question. The following
information has been provided by the Minister for Transport. The budget
estimates are as follows.
(a) For the Forrestfield–Airport
Link, it is $1.861 billion.
(b) For the Bayswater train station
upgrade, it is $146 million.
(c) There has
been $10.4 million allocated for the station upgrade component. Additional
works required to facilitate the Forrestfield–Airport Link project are
included within the FAL budget.
(d) For the Thornlie–Cockburn
Link, it is $535 million.
(e) For the Yanchep rail extension,
it is $520 million.
