(1) Details on any traffic infringement involving Government motor vehicles attached to his Ministerial office, including -

The Department of the Premier and Cabinet provides a document entitled "Conditions of Government Vehicle Use Guidelines" to all officers who are allocated a vehicle. The Guidelines state that: "Drivers of vehicles are personally responsible for the payment of any traffic infringement or parking fines incurred while they are using the vehicle". The same responsibility applies to all government chauffeurs. Consequently, infringement notices are a matter between the Police Service and an individual. I am therefore not prepared to allocate government resources to carry out this research.
