secretary representing the Minister for Transport:
I refer to the $1.901 billion
allocated in the budget to the Perth Freight Link.
(1) How much of this amount is
funded by —
(a) capital appropriations;
(b) asset sales;
(c) commonwealth grants;
(d) drawdowns from the holding
account;
(e) internal funds and balances; and
(f) other?
(2) How much of this amount is
expected to be repaid by the heavy vehicle user charge?
(3) How is the
amount in (2) shown in the ''Funded By'' section of the Main
Roads budget on page 736 of budget paper No 2?

(c) The amount is $1 185.8 million,
funded by commonwealth grants.
(d)–(f) Nil.

not included in the table, as the table shows how project works will be funded
during construction and does not include any repayments of funding in future
years.
