ALMA STREET CENTRE — DISCHARGED PATIENT SUICIDES
I have a supplementary question. Will the Premier commit to consulting with the Minister for Mental Health with a view to shifting from an internal departmental review of this matter to an independent investigation? Mr C.J. BARNETT

I am certainly happy to raise the issue with the Minister for Mental Health—I am sure she is fully aware of it—but I am not going to make any pre-emptive commitment. I will look at it on good merit. As I say, it is a very sad situation for these patients who have suicided, which obviously they have.
