The Department of Justice advises that the cost of the private rental subsidies for eligible Public Servants and Prison Officers within the Corrective Services Division in the Kimberley, for the requested financial years are:
(a) 2019-2020 $3,268,800
(b) 2020-2021 $3,798,540
(c) 2021-2022 $4,201,219 (from 01/07/2021 – 31/05/2022)
The Department of Justice rental subsidies allow for flexibility in leasing arrangements to provide housing for key government workers to meet the operational requirements of the agencies.
