CARERS RECOGNITION ACT —
REVIEW
866. Hon DONNA FARAGHER to the parliamentary secretary representing the
Minister for Community Services:
I refer to the minister's
press statement titled, ''Improving recognition for thousands of WA
carers'' released on 29 May 2018, which announced a review of the Carers
Recognition Act 2004 and states that ''the review will be completed by
the end of the year''.
(1) Has this review of the act been
completed?
(2) If yes to
(1), when was the review completed and has the Department of Communities
provided a final report to the minister for consideration?
(3) If no to (1), why not?
