AnswerView source ↗
I thank the honourable member for some notice of the
question.
Consultation letters for the Shark Bay terrestrial reserve
additions under the Plan for Our Parks initiative were sent to the Aboriginal
native title holders, mining tenement holders, local government authorities,
regional development commissions, local conservation groups, pastoralists and
other neighbours, tourism organisations and peak bodies. In addition, meetings
were also held on request with stakeholders. A table of community and key
stakeholders in the Shark Bay region who have been consulted within the last
two years under the Plan for Our Parks is provided in tabular form. The table
lists the stakeholders and the consultation that took place, and I seek leave
to have it incorporated into Hansard .
