Vacant housing stock is categorised between ‘returning’ and ‘non-returning’.
Returning properties are planned to or may be undergoing maintenance or refurbishment, and when completed will be relet to an applicant on the wait list.
Not-returning properties represent dwellings that have been earmarked for a purpose other than reletting to an applicant on the wait list, such as where the property is being considered for demolition, redevelopment, or asset transfer.
e)
Two vacant properties in the Shire of Katanning have had maintenance completed and are currently being relet to applicants on the public housing waiting list.
