Before he asks the question, I might
ask the member why he is wilfully ignoring the facts of the matter. I have just
answered all the member's questions about this, and said that there is
no threat to our gas supplies. I have been in touch with the companies involved
and they are continuing to work through the issues with the unions. I work with
the unions all the time, member. That is the problem for your side, is it not?
Over this side, we understand the benefit of
working with industry—working together for the benefit of Western Australia.
We understand the benefits of working
with community and organised labour to make sure that we can continue to take
this state forward. That is just something that the member has never
got; he lives in the Dark Ages, his ideas are in the Dark Ages, and he will
continue to be in the Dark Ages until he catches up.
