Industrial relations—Revocation of right-of-entry permit
453. Hon Nick Goiran to
the parliamentary secretary representing the
Attorney General:
I refer to the
decision of the Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission on 20 May
2026 in "An application to revoke the right-of-entry permit of Edmond Margjini",
in which the State Solicitor's Office acted for the applicant.
(1) What was the total cost and time
incurred by the State Solicitor's Office in acting for the applicant in these
proceedings?
(2) Why was the application made?
(3) What was the outcome?
(4) Has the Attorney General or the State
Solicitor's Office been informed of any other current holders or transitional
right-of-entry permanents who may not satisfy the current fit-and-proper person
criteria?
(5) If yes to (4), how many?
