(1) $293,992.26 for accrued entitlements, including annual leave and long service leave not taken since the year 2000 plus $179,052.75 being payment in lieu of three months' notice and contributions on account of transitional assistance and financial advice. Both amounts are subject to taxation deductions required by law.
(2) Yes.
(a) Mr Aberle was paid three months' salary in lieu of him working out the notice period he was required to give under his employment contract.
(3) The superannuation entitlement is in accordance with the provisions of the superannuation fund. This is a confidential matter between the fund and the member and as such Western Power, as the employer, does not know the amount of the superannuation entitlement.
