The Government's Modes of Employment policy states that Chief Executive Officers have a right and a responsibility to ensure that their organisations are staffed in an appropriate manner. All appointments must be in accordance with approved procedures issued by the Department of the Premier and Cabinet, and comply with the Public Sector Standards on Recruitment, Selection and Appointment.
