(1) Main Roads submitted an environmental management plan to the WA Planning Commission. (2) The Ministry for Planning has confirmed that the plan is sufficient basis for Main Roads to proceed with the construction of the project. The Ministry for Planning is liaising with the Department of Environmental Protection, the Water and Rivers Commission and Main Roads regarding the implementation and monitoring of the plan during the construction and rehabilitation process. (3) This ongoing process will not be finalised until construction and rehabilitation have been satisfactorily completed. I am prepared to table the advice once the process is finalised. I believe I tabled a lot of information for the member previously that outlined the situation.
