(a) Between 27 February 2019 and 18 May 2020, 52 submissions were lodged.
(b) To support economic recovery post COVID-19, Streamline WA is being reinvigorated to ensure a whole-of-Government focus commencing initially with accelerated approvals reform that address key issues including those raised through Streamline WA by mining, tourism, hospitality and other businesses.
(c) Consistent with (b), the Streamline WA initiative has announced a range of measures on 31 July including:
(d) In addition to the extensive changes to planning and environmental protection laws (currently before Parliament), amendments are also foreshadowed to the Mining Act 1978 , Swan and Canning River Management Act 2006 , Conservation and Land Management Act 1984 and the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority Act 1998 to accelerate decision-making and business efficiency.
