BAYSWATER TRAIN STATION
1284. Hon Dr BRIAN WALKER to the Leader of the House
representing the Minister for Transport:
I refer the minister to the
government's Building for Tomorrow website, which contains basic
details regarding the ongoing upgrade of
Bayswater station, including an intimation that the Midland line will be closed
at some stage in early 2023 to allow for the realignment to the new, and
hopefully collision-free, bridge.
(1) Is this
project currently running both on schedule and on budget?
(2) Given that
early 2023 is fast approaching, can the minister confirm the expected closure
dates necessary to accommodate the realignment?
