EELUP ROUNDABOUT — FLYOVER CONSTRUCTION
I refer to the Eelup roundabout and the Liberal Party’s election commitment to build a flyover. (1) How much of the $15 million allocated towards this project in the 2009–10 budget has been spent to date? (2) When will concept designs, which were due to be completed by the end of 2009, be finalised and made public? (3) Does the government intend to construct a smaller roundabout rather than proceed with the construction of the flyover? (4) If yes to (3), what are the expected start and completion dates for the construction of a smaller roundabout and when will the design plans for the smaller roundabout be released to the public? (5) What is the estimated cost of constructing a smaller roundabout and a flyover? Hon SIMON O’BRIEN
