(1) From 1931 to 1941 large areas of the northern jarrah forest were treated by 'sustenance workers'.
(2) Approximately 69 per cent of the area treated had been harvested once, the majority prior to 1920. Approximately 29 per cent of the area was treated following a second harvest conducted during the period 1920 to 1940. Two percent of the area treated had no record of prior harvest.
(3)(a) Data is not captured for individual years.
(3)(b) Approximately 126 700 hectares of the jarrah forest north of the Preston River is recorded as being treated during the 'sustenance work' period from 1931 to 1941.

(5) Yes. Approximately 117 600 hectares.
(6) Approximately 8 220 hectares to December 2011.
