KARRATHA DESALINATION PLANT — COST
I ask a supplementary question. The minister did not answer my third question but, nevertheless, we will come back to that. Can the minister provide a guarantee to this house that not one litre of that desalinated water from that new plant will go on dust suppression for the mining industry or other industrial uses in the north west? Dr G.G. JACOBS

Since the member for Cockburn is so out of touch, I will give him an undertaking to fully brief him on the facts and the details of this case so that he is fully cognisant of all the options and to reassure him that this is the best option to provide potable water for the city of Karratha and for the development of the Pilbara.
