Minister for Skills and TAFE:
I refer to the
minister's recent answers concerning decisions relating to price setting for
185 low-fee TAFE courses made over four tranches.
(1) Which criteria were used to inform the decisions
to reduce some course fees by between 50% and 60%? How many courses have had that
level of discount applied to them, and which courses are they?
(2) Which criteria were used to inform the
decisions to reduce some course fees by between 61% and 72%? How many courses
have had that level of discount applied to them, and which courses are they?
(3) I request that the minister table the written
advice the government received prior to making the above decisions. Is there
such advice, and will the minister table it for the specific courses referred
to above?
