I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question. The following information has been provided to me
by the Minister for Police.
The Western Australia Police Force
advises as follows.
(1) Communication
was through engagement with the Western Australian Firearms Community Alliance,
which represents individual firearms licence holders, clubs, dealers,
collectors and the broader firearms community; media briefings and ministerial
statements; the Western Australia Police Force website; the state government website; and media
advertisements, including in newspapers and on radio and television.
(2)–(4) Not applicable.
