This is a very answerable question. In the light of the current gas shortage — (1) Will the government now immediately allocate additional funds to energy efficiency programs? (2) Will it fast-track the introduction of a bill to meet the commitment of the Premier’s climate action statement of May 2007 to implement—wait for it—a mandatory energy efficiency scheme for the lowest energy users?
