For all Departments and Agencies within the Minister’s portfolios -
(1) In square metres, what Government-owned office space is presently vacant and where is it located?
(2) For each of these locations, -
(a) how long has the space been vacant;
(b) what is the cost per month of maintaining this vacant space;
(c) does the vacant space constitute a whole building or part of a building;
(d) for vacant whole buildings, has the Government attempted to sell the building;
(e) if no to (d), why not;
(f) for vacant part buildings, has the Government attempted to lease the vacant space to other Agencies, companies or individuals; and
(g) if no to (f), why not?
(3) In square metres, what Government-leased office space is presently vacant and where is it located?
(4) For each of these locations, -
(a) for how long has the space been vacant;
(b) what is the cost per month of maintaining this vacant space;
(c) has the Government attempted to get out of the lease for this vacant space;
(d) if no to (c), why not;
(e) has the Government attempted to sub-lease the vacant space to other Agencies, companies or individuals; and
(f) if no to (e) why not?
