LEADER OF THE HOUSE — CONTACT WITH NOEL CRICHTON-BROWNE 44. Hon LJILJANNA RAVLICH to the Leader of the House: Yesterday, in the Leader of the House’s answer to question without notice 29, he told the house that Mr Noel Crichton-Browne understood that he, the Leader of the House, was not to have contact with him. If the Leader of the House has had no contact with Mr Crichton-Browne, how does he know what Mr Crichton-Browne understands about the ban? Hon NORMAN MOORE

AnswerView source ↗

Very simply, I have had lunch with Mr Crichton-Browne’s brother, Peter Browne, whom the member may know. During the conversation with Peter Browne, he advised me that his brother was very much aware of his responsibility in respect of any relationship with me, having been made aware of that by the media, which reported very fully on Premier Barnett’s views on this matter.
