1251. Hon COLIN de GRUSSA to the minister representing the
Minister for Tourism:
I refer to the
2023 Ningaloo solar eclipse and related expenditure.
(1) How much
of the grant money provided to businesses through the local capability fund has
been expended to date?
(2) Will there
be a future grant round for not-for-profits to ensure capacity ahead of the
eclipse and provide legacy to key not-for-profits?
(3) Of the $21.2 million total, how much has been
expended to date and what are the outcomes of this expenditure?
(4) Of the $5 million for event management, how much
was directed to Onslow, Exmouth, Carnarvon, Tom Price, Shark Bay,
Kalbarri and other?
