(1-2) The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) can only comment on paediatricians employed in the public health system. WA Health does not collect data regarding paediatricians employed in the private health system or in private practice.
Paediatricians by headcount and full time equivalent (FTE) working in the public health system in the South West Health Region are as follows: in 2012/13, four headcount and 1.6 contracted FTE at Bunbury Hospital; and in 2013/14, five headcount and 2.6 contracted FTE at Bunbury Hospital.
There were no other paediatricians employed in the public health system in the South West Health Region during 2012/13 to 2013/14.
