(2) Yes, however the amount was reduced to $18.712 million following the application of the priority and assurance dividend of $0.576 million in 2001-02 and $0.712 million in 2002-03. (3) $1.0 million has been provided to the Bush Bank project. This is a joint Commonwealth – State program. During 2002-03, $765,600 has been committed to support for regional natural resource management groups and is progressively being spent. It is expected that this will be matched by the Commonwealth Government under the National Action Plan on Salinity and Water Quality and the Natural Heritage Trust. In addition, $2.35 million has been committed to a package of vegetation initiatives and $245,000 has been committed as Western Australia’s contribution to the first round of the National Market Based Instruments Pilots Program under the National Action Plan. The remaining funds are earmarked as part of Western Australia’s contribution to the National Action Plan, and are in the Department of Conservation and Land Management budget across the 2002-03, 2003-04 and 2004-05 financial years. Specific allocations will depend on National Action Plan outcomes. (4) Not applicable.
