I refer to the Minister for Resources’ press release dated 20 March in which it is stated that the number of mining tenement applications outstanding had fallen from 18 823 to 16 506 over the year to February 2008. (1) How many new tenement applications were made during the year? (2) How many tenements applications were approved?
