These regulations amend the Associations Incorporation Regulations 2016 to insert a transitional provision relating to the reinstatement of incorporation for associations whose incorporation was cancelled under the repealed Associations Incorporation Act.
Associations whose incorporation was cancelled under the previous Act and should not have been, and have not been incorporated under another law, may have their incorporation reinstated by the Commissioner.
