These regulations amend the Building Regulations 2012 to allow the disclosure of certain information obtained from local governments and permit authorities to the Commissioner under the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1984 and the Statistician under the Census and Statistics Act 1905 (Commonwealth).
Local governments and permit authorities are affected as they may be required to disclose information to the Commissioner and the Statistician. This facilitates data sharing for occupational safety and health and statistical purposes.
