These regulations amend the Associations Incorporation Regulations 2016 and the Auction Sales Regulations 1974 to waive or refund certain fees due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It also amends the Building Services (Registration) Regulations 2011 to refund certain fees.
Associations, auctioneers, and building service providers who paid fees between April 1, 2020, and the commencement date may be eligible for refunds. Auctioneers will also benefit from reduced application fees during the designated period. This provides financial relief during the COVID-19 pandemic.
