These regulations amend the Community Protection (Offender Reporting) Regulations 2004 to include control orders and restraining orders made in South Australia, and prohibition orders made in Victoria, within the scope of reportable orders under the Community Protection (Offender Reporting) Act 2004.
Registered offenders who are subject to control orders, restraining orders, or prohibition orders made in South Australia or Victoria will now be subject to the reporting requirements under the Community Protection (Offender Reporting) Act 2004 in Western Australia. This affects law enforcement and individuals subject to these orders.
