These regulations amend the Construction Industry Portable Paid Long Service Leave Regulations 1986 to decrease the contribution rate from 1.10% to 1.00%.
Construction industry employers will pay a slightly lower contribution rate for long service leave, reducing their labor costs. Workers' long service leave entitlements are not directly affected.
