This proclamation announces the commencement date for most of the Consumer Protection Legislation Amendment Act 2019, setting it to come into operation on January 1, 2020, excluding specific parts.
Businesses and individuals affected by consumer protection laws in Western Australia will see changes come into effect on January 1, 2020, as outlined in the Consumer Protection Legislation Amendment Act 2019. This excludes Parts 1 and 6 and section 67 of the Act.
