These regulations amend the Criminal Procedure Regulations 2005 to revise procedures related to applications and notices under section 54 of the Bail Act 1982 in courts of summary jurisdiction. They introduce new forms (5A and 5B) and update existing forms related to bail variations and revocations.
Police officers and applicants seeking summons or warrants under the Bail Act 1982 will need to use the new forms. Courts of summary jurisdiction will also be affected by the updated procedures for bail applications and notices.
