This order amends the Electricity Industry Exemption Order 2005. It extends an exemption for clause 19(4) to 30 June 2021 and inserts a new clause 28, providing an exemption for Pilbara Energy Company regarding the Pilbara Energy Connection.
Pilbara Energy Company Pty Ltd is affected, as it is exempt from section 7(2) of the Electricity Industry Act 2004 in relation to the construction and operation of the Pilbara Energy Connection. This allows them to operate without certain regulatory requirements.
