Principal Act
Amends the Electricity Industry (Licence Conditions) Regulations 2005. It clarifies the application of purchasing distributed energy for eligible customers with multiple premises and introduces an exemption for certain Housing Authority tenants with corporation-owned renewable energy systems.
Eligible customers with multiple premises will have distributed energy purchase requirements applied separately to each premises. Housing Authority tenants with corporation-owned renewable energy systems installed between Nov 2020 and June 2024 may not be able to sell excess energy back to the grid.
