This code amends the Electricity Industry (Metering) Code 2012, removing the requirement to include the street address and phone number of people requiring life support equipment at a site when providing customer information.
Network operators and electricity retailers are affected by the change in information requirements. Customers requiring life support equipment are indirectly affected as their address and phone number will no longer be automatically provided.
