Electricity Industry Act 2004

This code amends the Electricity Industry (Network Quality and Reliability of Supply) Code 2005 to introduce temporary reliability standards for electricity supply to the Eastern Goldfields and North Country regions of Western Australia.

The Electricity Networks Corporation is affected by the new temporary reliability standards. Customers in the Eastern Goldfields (Kalgoorlie-Boulder and Coolgardie) and North Country (Geraldton and surrounds) will benefit from arrangements to restore and maintain electricity supply during outages.
